Sciuird Tours provide a guided tour with expert talks on the 6,000 years of human history on the Dingle Peninsula. Tours take up to 3 hours and involve bus transport and easy walking during which we visit up to 4 archaeological sites.
Our tours visit the area west of Dingle Town, along the coastal Slea Head Route. The distance travelled during the tour is less than 30 miles, starting and finishing in Dingle town. In addition to the archaeological sites we also stop at a location overlooking the Blasket Islands where we discuss the history and unique cultural significance of the islanders and their literature.
Tours depart dingle daily at 10am.
We can arrange to pick people at their accommodation within 2km of dingle town – otherwise we meet at the dolphin statue, which is adjacent to the tourist Tourist office on the water front in Dingle town, carpark located nearby.
The tour costs €30 per person – groups limited to a max of 16 people.
